Round-body cast-in ferrule forms with an enlarged base and internal thread. Define the foot profile, body length and threaded interface on your drawing.
Share your drawing, material specification and quantity.
Round-base cast-in ferrules combine an internally threaded cylindrical body with a circular foot. Local shaped features at the base complete the component profile. Specify the round-foot version explicitly when comparing it with a hex-foot ferrule or a socket mounted on a separate plate.
A ferrule description needs more than a thread size. The round base diameter, foot thickness, transition into the shank and any local ribs or recesses should be shown clearly. Where a polygonal foot is required, identify it as that variant instead of using a round-base illustration.
The internal connection thread and the external foot are separate parts of the component specification. The term cast-in describes placement within a concrete casting operation; it does not identify the metal component as investment cast. The metal manufacturing route is assessed separately against the component drawing.

Use the component drawing to communicate the intended cast-in fixing detail and the mating fastener interface. Any temporary or permanent connection duty should be stated with the required project documentation, rather than inferred from a generic ferrule name.
For repeat procurement, reference the drawing revision and identify the required material, surface condition and thread details. This establishes which version is being quoted and which features need to be checked when the component is accepted.

Tolerances, order quantity and lead time are assessed for the project.
Send your drawing →No. Here cast-in refers to the insert being embedded when concrete is cast. The metal component's manufacturing process is a separate drawing-review decision.
Identify it separately from the round-base form and provide the foot width, thickness and transition details. The purchase drawing should make the selected geometry unambiguous.
No product-specific load table has been established for these illustrated components. The required performance and verification must be reviewed for the defined product and connection.
