Threaded precast insert forms with a cylindrical body and ribbed circular flange. Match the geometry and finished interface to your project drawing.

Flanged precast concrete inserts are component forms for projects requiring an internal threaded fixing interface in a concrete element. A straight cylindrical body extends to a circular foot with local shaped transitions. Specify the connection interface, body proportions and finished surface condition as one coordinated purchase requirement.
Begin the procurement specification with the mating fastener, thread designation and usable thread length. Then define body height, body diameter and the circular flange dimensions. These details distinguish the requested insert from other internally threaded concrete components with a similar overall outline.
State how the thread opening is located relative to the concrete surface in the project design, and identify any required protection or positioning accessories separately. The component photographs do not establish the accessory package or its compatibility with a particular fixing system.

If a finish is required, identify its type, acceptance criteria and treatment of the internal thread in the inquiry. The substrate material also needs to be stated independently. Colour alone is not a specification for zinc plating, galvanizing or another surface treatment.
Compare flanged insert versions using a defined drawing and finish requirement. Confirm which features must remain free of any requested treatment and how the finished thread will be accepted. This keeps the procurement specification focused on the actual interface rather than a general product label.

Tolerances, order quantity and lead time are assessed for the project.
Send your drawing →No. The image colour does not establish zinc plating, galvanizing, paint or another treatment. A finish must be identified in the agreed specification.
Both descriptions can refer to a similar basic form. Compare the body and flange dimensions, material and finish requirements before treating them as different component versions.
No. It describes the component for procurement. Installation, connection design and any required validation must be defined for the project.
